good question.....i would first put john frieda's FRIZZ-EASE.......omg it works like magic.....first wash yr hair and then when its towel-dried spray this on......then blowdry it......and then straiten for final touches......most people use a straitner everyday but what they dont relize is that it damages hair.....a blowdry is a lot better for keeping your hair smooth.....only use a straitner after yr blowdrier.......i know this seems like a lot but if u use the frizz-ease stuff yr hair shouldnt be frizzy and dry anymore.....trust me when yr done itll be the complete opposite, smooth and silky

You do not say what you are doing to your hair right now.Are you just blow drying and using a flatiron,or are you chemically straightening your hair? For all of those options, you should be using a heavy, moisturizing shampoo and conditioner made for frizzy/curly hair,as well as other products like Frizz Ease,Wio Straightening Balm, or Phytodefrisant Balm.Ouidad makes good products for Curly/Frizzy hair.Redken makes shampoos and conditioners called All Soft and Fresh Curls.Frederic Fekkai makes a Moisturizing Line with Shea Butter(my favorite). You need to go to a good Beauty Supply Store,a salon,or even the neighborhood pharmacy to check out all of the products for curly/frizzy hair. The thing to do is make sure your hair is well moisturized. You also must dry the hair completely when you are blow drying it straight, otherwise the frizz will pop right back. And after drying your hair, there are finishing creams to apply to the hair to keep it from looking dried out.

If you are chemically straightening your hair, you need to give it deep conditioning treatments to bring your hair back to a healthier state.

Aha! I have a solution, since I deal with the same problem. want sleek shiny hair, simply buy some Biosilk from a salon, it is a bit expensive but worth it and apply a small amount when damp. ( I use the liquid) then straighten it. I recommend a flatiron from Sally's beauty supply. I bought a sixty dollar tourmaline and love it. it is a good investment. It takes half the time a cheaper one would take, gets to a much higher heat and makes my hair soft and shiny with no frizz. i only wish someone had told me what to do about my fuzzy frizzy hair sooner. good luck!

I know exactly what you mean my hair is naturally curly and is soooooooo frizzy. i went to sally beauty supply and got a relaxer. I really worked. it was a lot cheaper than buying a new straightener it was only like 4 or 5 dollars and you don't have to straighten it with and iron at all. but i would also get a protein conditioner to keep your hair from being damaged.

Maybe consider getting a better straightener, a CHI turbo works extremely well and makes my hair completely flat.

Do you straighten it while its damp? If so i would recommend against it because that could be whats causing the frizziness so you should wait untill its completely dry.

Other ideas would be getting a straight shampoo and conditioner, i personally like KMS Straight.

Good luck and i hope this helps.

You are doing something wrong. Use a GOOD flatiron. Get a ceramic-plate flatiron, and spend at least 40 bucks. You should be able to straighten your hair with that and have it be perfectly straight. If it doesn't work, it's possible your hair is damaged beyond repair. Have a good cry, and get it cut off... then take better care of it when it grows back in.

make sure your hair is COMPLETELY dry when you straighten your hair or else your gonna get frizziness

use a hair serum like Biosilk(works wonderful) or there are other hair serums out there. i use 'Fantasia: Frizz Buster' and it's easy to spot on the shelves b/c of it's purple dome cap.

try switching to Thermasilk shampoo, it works great with heat wether your using a flat iron, blow dryer, hot curlers, curling iron...etc. the shampoo locks in your hair's moisture so it doesn't get fried when your using heat on your hair.

get a good hair straighter, a ceramic plated one will work great...i use one like that. for the money they're worth, the flat iron will last you a while, that is until you drop it and it breaks.

good luck

buy a shampoo and conditioner for frizzy hair, also get a straightening creme and a ceramic iron with temperature regulator, use everything every day and you will get frizz away in about 2 weeks (I use john Freida)
and also a very shiny hair

use a straightener that has a gold plate instead of silver. they work better. I recommend Revlon.

try hair lotion by got 2 be, frizz ease by john frieda - same with his shampoos, they work better. put just a little hairspray on your hair or the hair lotion as you straighten. works great.

get a better straightner that reduces frizz. for example this one revlon flat iron. its white..n its like 20 bucks in WalMart. I prommise u its good. It gets HOTT! quick, n straightens out when u pass it once, as long as u go slowly. but i also recommend 4 u to buy anti-frizz, or frizz-ease, or serum.
