Have your hairdresser cut all of the damage off. That is the only way to get your hair back healthy.

I had color AND a relaxer. You know what happened. My hair dresser cut the damage off, and gave me a short, maintenance-free style.

It is now growing in healthy and thick.

Before she cut it, I tried all the over the counter conditioners and treatments. They made my hair LOOK healthy, but that was it. When it got to the point where my hair drier was blowing hair on my bathroom walls, I called Denise (my hairdresser).

You need deep conditioning treatments. Frederic Fekkai Hair Mask with Shea butter is one option.A good daily moisturizing conditioner is Pureology Reconstruct Repair;it helps stop the breakage. You can also go to a stylist for these deep conditioning treatments. You need to not straighten your hair for a few months until the condition improves.

You could try one of those leave in conditioners and see if that helps..I tried the kind from Aussie and it works pretty well, it's cheap and you can buy that at Wal-Mart, it won't hurt to try!
