I think it's a beautiful name for a little baby girl. Also, it is unique and not common, which is a good thing! In addition, Bella does mean beautiful. Good luck with your child!

I personally think that the better name is Isabella and then you could call the baby Bella if you wanted to. But it's just an opinion so dont like kill me over it.

You may want to consider naming her Isabella, instead of Bella. That way, when she gets older, she has a choice of wanting to be called Isabella or Bella.

I do not think Bella is a good name. My niece is called Bella, although her real name is Isabelle. The kids in school called her Iggy or Icky, so they changed it to Bella. Now they call her Bugga' (like booger). They also call her ding-a-lling on ocassion.

I think so, i have a 7 mo. old baby girl and i named her Ella and i call her Ella Bella,she is a doll. What ever you name her good luck.

yes i do, it's italian for beautiful girl. when she gets older u could say to her " te amo Bella bumbola" it means i love you beautiful baby doll. its also short for isobel or isobella.
