heh. Hey 13, don't worry. It's called puberty. If you haven't been hit in the head or suffered severe mental stress then don't worry about it. If you find you're having the same issue when you're about 15 or so, though, see a counsellor and get to the root of the problem. There's always a root if there's a mental problem. Like with me... I'd be cool as a fan, then something would make me feel iffy. Once I have that feeling, I'm irritable and lash out at a lot of things for a while until I confront the situation and attack the root of the problem. Right now, though - just enjoy being a kid

Most likely you're just dealing with hormones. But if you think it's serious enough, the best people to answer this question are your friends and family. They observe your behavior more than anyone, and they will notice things about your behavior that you might not even notice.
Thanks to some brain damage, I started to suffer from depression and was a real pain in the *** to everyone. But I didn't see how badly I was treating people until I asked them. It made me sad to realize how I was treating my loved ones. So I got help. It wasn't easy, but eventually, it got better with support and the right dose of medication.
If you really want to know if you have a problem, ask your friends and family. And let them help you if you need help.
Good luck. Hope things work out for you.

Your mood swings can be a result of your raging hormones whether or not you are PMSing. They can also be a result of depression. Keep a journal for a while and daily write down your changing moods. You may find they are not as changeable as you believe. If you are concerned after keeping track for a time, at least you will have something in writing to tell your doctor about.

Can you get to a Dr? I am bi-polar and that is about when it started to show 13 actually but close. Sounds like you cloud be. Talk to a counslor at school if you can't get to a Dr. Good luck honey. You can live with it but have to get a little treatment.

You might need some magnesium amino acid chelate 100 mg twice a day. Also zinc 10 mg per day.
Good for onset of menstruation and will relax stomach muscles associated with menstruation. Also will level you out some.

You do not have a mood disorder. You are entering puberty and you have hormonal changes going on. It gets better after a while, but then after you're 50, it's bad again for awhile. But, that's part of womanhood. Good Luck !

You can tell by your gender. If your female, then you have a mood problem. If your male, then you have to put up with someones mood problem.
