the thing is, is that he's almost 3 years younger then me. and if i go out with him all of my friends would think that im really wierd.

here's my approach, but there are many out there. start by telling him, as a friend, that you can't make up your mind whether to tell the guy you like, that you like him. usually guys will say just got for it. then state that u don't want your friendship to be ruined cause hes a good friend of yours, and that you're not sure whether its a mutual feeling. this should give him an idea that your talking about him, then say, well... the guy is you, what would u like me to do about it?... and about the friends, all relationships are weird in one way or another, age can be your thing. if your happy, and your friends are actually friends, it shouldn't really matter.
another way, i suppose is that you could just tell him bluntly that your having feelings for him, and that u'd like something more, but its ok if he just wants to be friends.

I can understand where your coming from...I too like someone alittle older then I...however we have not really talked about the whole dating aspect of things.....tell them...i mean what do you have to lose right? He will either say no or yes...I say go for it and do not bother with what your friends say...big deal if they can handle it get new friends

Who cares what your friends think?!! If they can't accept you, they aren't your friends. Also, just ask straight up if he likes you. It's better than just beating around the bushes for like a billion years.
