there good vehicles i own and operate a repair shop,,and i don't get a lot of them to work on,,so that's a good sign as far as trouble goes,,as far as being a dependable ,,one of my customers has one ,,and he is really hard on a vehicle,,and his has held up good,,and if it will hold up under him they have to good,i think it will make you a good family vehicle,,and you will probably get a lot of good use from it,,just keep it maintained ,,and don't let small things go un-repaired on it,,because small things turn in to large things,,it sounds like a pretty good deal ,,as long as the price is right,,hope this help,s.

Well, the Dodge Caravans have always had a good name and good reputation. I think it would be a good choice. The next year (2001) they started making the new style Caravan which they still make today. I kind of like the new style better. Maybe you could look more into those. Otherwise, these vans get pretty good gas mileage for a minivan and they are just nice. Good Luck with your decision!

Great vans for a family. My Sister has a 98 with over 130,000 miles on it and it still runs great. Lots of room for her, her husband, 2 toddlers and LOTS of stuff! Mileage is decent for a van this size as well...about 17 miles per gallon city and 22 miles per gallon on the highway. Get it inspected by a mechanic before you buy to avoid any surprises! Good Luck!

Go to Kelley blue book on line for fair pricing as well you can see a list of known problems for any model on web sites. The 90k is not too bad a mileage, average USA mileage is average of 12-15k per year. I heard of some electrical problems, check car fax for insurance claims give the vin #..

It depends. I had a 98 Voyager(basically same) It had the 3.0L v-6, and after lots of miles began smoking and losing oild, due to leaks. Was bought with high miles on it to begin with. Was a nice and comfy ride. But had that fear in the back of my mind with all them problems of old engine and such.
