OF COURSE NOT!!!

I have three black cats and I feel that they bring me good luck, not bad.
They seem to know when I have had a rough day and before long they have me all happy and fuzzy inside, how could one call that bad.
If one does harm to a black cat, or any other animal, then one should get all of the bad luck due to them.

That is such an old wise tale and who ever said that they
were, they are out of there minds. I've had three and they
were the best cats ever. I really hate these idiots who go
around the neighborhood and look for black cats for there
evil rituals, especially around Halloween time. I would love
to get my hands on those people and show them a thing or
two.

NO! We've had four black cats in the past 40 years. They've never brought us any Bad Luck and we have loved everyone of them.

I've had three black cats so far, and all of them have brought me incredibly good luck.

There seems to be a trait of "cute but not too bright with them" but all my black cats have been loving and sweet and have brought me happy and lucky times. Right now , I have NiCoal Kitman and she is the best.

No, it's just a cultural myth. In England, black cats mean good luck.

No. I have a black cat and he has the most friendly personality. Even on a farm with four or five other cats and a couple of dogs around, he thinks we are buddys.

No, but I thank my friend is because before I went to her house, I had a cat and when I got back I didn't. And I'm still looking for her and it's been almost a year.

All you answerers rock! Thanks for helping dispell the myth - enough animal torture around because of it.

I have a black cat who is the sweetest kitty in the world. And she's beautiful, too. She was born under my bed and is now 15 years old. I hope she lives forever.

That is such a myth, dont believe it! I have a black male, named Ben, and he is such a loving sweetheart..... Then a female, named Precious, and she is what she is called, Precious! They need homes & love just like any other colors do!
