It does not necessarily mean you have a gambling problem if you are constantly gambling. For professional gamblers who make a living out of gambling, it would be problem if they weren't gambling most of the time.

You should always bet with information and bet with your head, not over it. Gambling can be a lot of fun if you play smart.

Some signs that gambling may be a problem for you include:
- Do you find yourself gambling when you have other important things to do?
- Is your gambling creating financial problems for you or your family?
- Do you raise your bet size when you are losing for the day?
- Is gambling making you unhappy?

If the answer to any of those questions is 'Yes', then you *may* have a gambling problem. I have heard good things about Gambler's Anonymous, but you may want to talk to your partner or a close friend first about your feelings.

Well, it all depends... I gamble on a regular basis, but I'm a conservitive gamber and make small bets. Lets say, if you have $1K on the table, make $5 bets, so you don't lose too much with only a few hands...

Point being, it's not a problem, unless you start making Big bets that drive you deep in debt. If you can avoid that, then you'll be fine.

Take it from a man of experience.

Depends on a couple of things.

Are you making money? I doubt anyone would say that Greg Raynor or Phil Ivey had a gambling problem because they are making a fortune.

Are you playing beyond your means? If you can't pay you bills because you loss too much, then you have a problem.

Can you quit? If you said no, then the answer is yes.

You should set yourself a limit and once that is gone give up for the day/week and only gamble what can afford to lose !

Probably... sounds like it's taking priority over God, family, and friends. If it's the first thing you think about when you get up in the morning and the last thing you think about when you go to bed, I'd contact Gamblers Anonymous.
