If it's possible please provide a link to the software download. I'm guessing I either can't install iTunes or have to use 4.x version. IF so, please post the link to the download since 4.x is older.

Is there a workaround to install it at all on her piece o crap?

I guess I'll see. I'm getting conflicting answers.

I downloaded latest version. She doesn't have cable net & my laptop is pretty much top o the line.

I ain't buying crap ppl! We can get new SW thru the U for $10/CD.

Her desktop is severely crap! I just got rid of the 10,000 viruses she had and reinstalled drivers and programs to unzip virus programs cuz she didn't have that either.

Seriously ppl. Answer correctly & you get 10 pts. Answer wrong & I'll hunt you down.

Spending: $0.
Just wanna know if it will install & run. Period.

Sorry I see no workaround for that. iTunes requires 2000/XP

Buy her a $300 computer that has Windows XP on it. iTunes will only work on Windows 2000 or XP so you could always spend in the area of $165 and buy a Windows 2000 CD and install that for her and then she can have iTunes. Even if iTunes ran under Windows ME (which it doesn't), the driver support for an iPod would not be there (assuming she would want to use an iPod).

Okay, here's how it is, you admit her PC is crap (your words) and you admit she is running Windows ME, if all you wanted is a yes or no answer then no, it won't run and it won't install. I gave you options (the only options that will work). If you can get Windows XP for $10 then get it and install it.
