At my school, the popular kids were the smartest....seriously. It's better to be smart than just popular. Popularity isn't going to get you far in the real world if you're not smart.

Of course not! Just because you're smart doesn't necessarily mean you're a nerd. While yes the world is still somewhat stereotypical, I think it's become less so in the past year. I know a person who does many extracurriculars, is in many clubs, who's incredibly smart, but still is very popular.

im smart, and i have friends. then again i guess i dont really care. i have been called a super genius and a nerd way more times than i can remember but im still friends with those less inteligent than i am because i help them study and im not pretentious.
