Does he just mean he thinks you are quiet or is there some underlying message. I was at work and ringing up this guy who was in the military and he said "You seem quiet?"

Maybe he was trying to break the ice,thought you were cute or something. Who EVER knows what they are thinking,and who'd want to know...lol

He's uncomfortable with it and thinks it may be because of him or something else is on your mind. He may think that you're usually not a very quiet person.

We men aren't subtle. if he said, you seem quiet, then he thought you seemed quiet. That's it, no subliminal message there. Don't read anything into it, it's a simpe statement.

He was probably just trying to start a conversation but sometimes we say it if we think something is wrong. Just out of concern mostly.

he is basically insinuating that you seem to have something on your mind and that he is there for you to talk to if u need it a man has trouble coming right out and saying i am here if u need me and that was probably his way of saying it.

I think wat he was saying is that you captivated him and he was a little interested in you and wondering if u were in him. Or... he could just mean that you don't seem too talkative..nothing wrong with that... but.. i think it was the first more than the second.
