Okay, so this comes from a similar question I answered a couple of days ago....and yes, these are my own words.
----------
Good Question.
Scripture gives us a peek at what Heaven will be like.
First of all, its beauty will be a wonder of amazement (but I think everyone knows that). The City is described as having jewels for a foundation, and it will have no night--God's own radiance lights the place perpetually. Jesus' form of being is described in the first verses of the Book of Revelation, and that's interesting....
...but, if I may speculate *a little*....
Won't it be an entire community of the saved? So, what does a community do? Hang out, go places, do things together....skip gold rocks on the crystal sea? Scripture identifies some of the emotions of God, so we'll still have emotions; all without the nagging temptations and impact of injustice and evil in this life.
As long as there are people, we can certainly play games together, I mean, we'll only have all of eternity to do it. Plus, if there are materials to make things with, materials like gold and who knows what else, we can certainly make things--even tools. Then from there, what can't we do that we can do now?
Why be limited to playing games? Let's have stores to buy and sell fairly, and create an entire multi-faceted society. I mean, the Bible describes the Feast of the Lamb, so we can be sure that we can eat, and we have to get food somewhere or gather it ourselves......
I really think that the potential to do anything good in Heaven is almost unlimited. And I believe that the most beautiful things we see here in this life are a dim foreshadowing of we will someday see.
I am glad that my faith is substantial, and that is not meant as a crack at anyone else's beliefs, but I have seen enough evidence (without knowing about Heaven) to be convinced that it is a real place.
I can't wait. Really.

I can;t wait. Pearly gates, streets of gold, manisons all over, angels, place to fellowship with God, no sadness, no pain, no darkenss, no tears, the clouds will open up, no time to say goodbye, and no tear to dim the eye, i know i already said that, but it is my favorite one, getting to see my family that has gone on before me.i can't imagine, and i am so excited, i just don't want to go just yet, i am ready, but...i still have souls to win to the Lord.

It states in the bible what heaven will be like. Streets of gold, mansions, jewels on the gates, waters running through the city. Look it up!

there will be space or time> only an eternal state of "being". There will be on sunlight..because God's light will be shining perfectly> since we will exist outside of space..then i believe that we all will be "one" with God, therefore our emotions and consciesnous will be "inter-connected" in perfect solitude>
