I believe they plan the solve the Human Problem...
You see, the United Nations was founded by FDR & Churchill...both free masons right? Well, free masons have a secret plan to take over the world! If you look on the UN website, there 3 plans in effect right now to reduce the freedom of all people on Earth through arms, capital, and law enforcement.
1. They propose an actionon private ownership of "small arms and light weapons"
2. They propose a global tax for global "redistribution"
3. They UN est. a Global Judicial Tribunal (global court)
Hop on the Conspiracy Train with me...its a fun ride!!!
Here's the sources:

The fact is they work towards solving problems they can not solve them without money or countries contributing. Many Govts. Do not want to comply like America is one of those countries. Long story short they are strong against the fight for aids and poverty in the world when nobody is helping the UN. I feel it is very important for people to respect and support the UN because it is made of people who give their lives up for their work for a world that could care less. The UN solves problems like providing medical care to communities that cannot afford it. I aspire to finish Pharmacy school and work for WHO which is a branch of UN. A good piece of advice is to also follow up on their missions around the world.

So much of the money and resources that have been given to the UN have been pilfered. Tons of vehicles, supplies, food and money have just vanished. Even Kofi Annan's son has severely, and obscenely misused his position~! The U.N. is a money pit full of many greedy and unsavory people. It is a way for third worlders to cash in and feel important!

I was a part of the U.N nation (junior) when I was in high school, and all we did was discuss issues around the world, we never did anything about them, though LOL!

The U.N. was formed to hold a world court to prosecute Nazi war criminals. After that I'm not sure they've built much credibility.

Good intentions are just that. Good intentions. There is nothing more controversial than people trying to solve problems. Nothing ever gets done. Actions speak louder than words. Instead of just doing, all they do is talk and send out letters.

Unfortunately, it seems to be a fairly impotent organization. They can't even get missions like feeding starving people or policing a small nation like Haiti right.

None. To me it appears the U.N. is "all blow and no go".
