First you have to have something like Win95 or Win98. Then when you go to install Windows XP on top of Win95/98 you should be given a choice to install with Dual Boot.

Also, you may want to consider looking into Linux as you can set some versions to boot from CD without needint to install Linux.

Dual booting is where you have more than one operating system on a computer (you can have more than two, this is also called multibooting)

You need to install the different versions of Windows in chronological order. ie: Windows 95, then 98, then 2000, then XP, etc.

First, start with an empty hard drive.

Take your first installation disc and boot into the intallation program.

When the computer askes you where you want to install the OS, partiton the drive into however many volumes you need to accomodate your operating systems (one per OS!!).

Now install the first OS on the first partition of the primary master drive.

Install each successive OS on successive partitions.

You're done! When you start up you should be automatically presented with a menu of available OS's. No need for floppy disks...

You need 2 partitions and one with each operation system, but I think you need a floppy disk to start up the other operating system
