A favorite dog doesn't just have to be cuteness, but also because it's well-trained or stuff like that. Personally, I love them all! Well, almost!

My family has owned A golden retreiver, a dachsund mix, a mop-looking mutt, a border collie, a great dane, a dalmation, 2 black labs, and one american pit bull terrier.
Out of all those my favorite is the pit bull. She is well trained and loyal, playful, sweet, and she has more personality than any other dog I've ever met.
The golden retreiver however was the easiest to train and a very very smart sweet dog.
Both black labs were kind of crazy; one bites people and the other one ate everything.
The dachsund and mop-mutt had no personality at all.
The border collie killed some of the farm ducks and liked to run away alot.
The dalmatian is crazy and bites people.
The great dane was awesome and sweet but she had alot of health problems when she got old.
So my favorite of all those is my current dog the pit bull.

I love German Shepherd Dogs and Boston Terriers. I love all breeds, but those are my faves. Have 3 dogs of my own right now.

my favorite dog is my dog, i have a sheppard/husky mix. I've had him since he was 4 weeks old, he has the husky coat, tail and face with the sheppard markings. hes the most lovable dog i've ever been around, he will even spoon if you fall asleep next to him by wrapping his front paws around you.

German shepheds for their trainability and well roundedness. Rottweilers for their loyalty. Dobermans for their uncanny protection standards. American/French bulldogs for their drool all over the place. Every working breed and hounds for their working standards and drive.

The best, most wonderful dog I ever had was a Japanese Chin!
Beautiful, cuddly, obedient and smart.

Pekingese. But on the other hand pekingese mixed with min.doberman thats what my dog did shes a pekingese and he was the the min.doberman and the babies were soo cute i kept one.!
