He'll come back allright when he realises that Mary M's chest has a 2000 year sag. I guess he's too high to notice though, so maybe he won't even bother.

Jesus will not be reincarnated. He is alive today.
Your definition of reincarnation contains definitions of two different aspects of life and death.
Reincarnation: The belief that one has lived before in another lifetime
Brought back to life, the same life, death defeated - that one will live again after physical death.
Jesus defeated death, he was not reincarnated intro another existence. He was resurrected, not reincarnated.
When we all die, we will be "brought back" - some to enjoy eternal life, some to face eternal punishment.
Joh 14:1 "Your heart must not be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in Me.
Joh 14:2 In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if not, I would have told you. I am going away to prepare a place for you.
Joh 14:3 If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come back and receive you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.
Joh 14:4 You know the way where I am going."
Joh 14:5 "Lord," Thomas said, "we don't know where You're going. How can we know the way?"
Joh 14:6 Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Joh 14:7 "If you know Me, you will also know My Father. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him."

It's not a contradiction. In reincarnation, one comes back as another entity, different from the original. Jesus however has not ceased to be. He simply went back to live in heaven for a while and then he will return when the time is right. He'll still be Jesus. Just like when I leave my family to go on a trip on a plane. When I come back to them, it doesn't mean I've been reincarnated. It just means I've come back. Simple.

Hello friend,
You have asked a profoundly deep question, and one that deserves a well reasoned answer.
The Good news, is that God Himself gives you that answer in His Word. The bad news, is that in this type of forum, brevity wins, which means most answers are worth what you paid for them.
At the risk of butchering this very relevant and important subject, may I say this to you, when the Bible speaks of the return of Christ, this refers to His second coming. (A different subject than returning from the dead.)
The definition you gave for Reincarnation came from the mind of man, where as God, who is the Author of Life was the first and only one to have died and three days later walked out of the tomb
never to die again.
You see friend, a Reincarnation is what man thinks about death, but Resurrection is what Jesus did when He conquered death Hell and the grave for you.
God is not the author of confusion friend. If you get into His Word,
His Word will get into you and your contradictions will be resolved.
It is difficult to start at "W" on your way to "Z" and expect to know the alphabet.
Thus it is with God's Book. Too many folks want deep answers from the shallow end of the pool.
Blessings,
2 Tim. 2:7

reincarnation:the belief that one has lived before in another lifetime, and will live again after physical death....this meaning is true, but you forget to mention that you come back as a different person or as a different living form....Jesus did die..he was crucified actually(not a pleasant way to die i can imagine) the bible says that he rose from the dead on the third day..resurected not reincarnated....theres a difference....back in those days there was no way of bridging that gap between man and God so He sacrificed Jesus so that through Jesus we may be saved and have eternal life with God...the Bible also says that he will come back to take his people(those who have believe in HIM) with him...i hope that kind a answers your Question...

Because He said He would...
“Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven” (Acts 1:11).
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Jesus is coming back as Himself, He is already alive and He said He would. He is alive and well and is returning to earth, He will not be coming back as a mosquito, but as the Son of God . He will be coming back...to earth...from Heaven...which He WILLINGLY gave up to save US from sin.
FAITH:the belief in things unseen. Hebrews 11
By the by, This is still His first lifetime, He just happened to drop into the timeline which HE created to walk a mile in our shoes.

Reincarnation is to come back as someone or something else, from ANOTHER lifetime, being raised from the dead, as Jesus was, is him coming back as himself, which he did.
There is no contradiction. I believe because he said he would.

Jesus has promised in the Bible to come back to earth to redeem His people, and to defeat Satan once and for all. Besides, if He didn't, I think we would certainly destroy ourselves. Personally, I don't think the Bible really contradicts reincarnation. I myself am relatively sure it is a reality.

Because of the things the Bible told us to look for, as a sign that he would soon be here.
Reincarnation doesn't apply here.
When he arrives, Jesus is to be seen on a cloud.
That shows he will still be a spiritual person.
