Be led by the spirit not the flesh. If God says hey that person needs to hear my Word today and their heart is ready to receive I do witness. If not, I don't because the Word of God will fall on deaf ears. God says be wiser than the serpent. Some people push people away from God continually badgering them. Key point be led by God.

We witness by our actions first, then it is followed up with a conversation. If you are living a good "christian" life and show agape love to all that enter your circle then you are witnessing daily. Love is the whole basis of Christianity no more no less. No condemnation; we have been forgiven already. Our obligation... and it is a GREAT obligation, is to show love to others and to live the life that Jesus gave us. A life free from fear of death.

Depends... on what you mean by "witness"! Do you mean... do we talk to them and tell them about our relationshio with the Lord and all the good things that He's done and is doing in our lives? Or do you mean by our actions! Jesus said, "You'll know them by their fruits" so everything that we say and do as Christians is in fact a "witness" for the good, or in some cases the bad, of His Kingdom, no!?

I've always felt that one of the strongest ways a Christian can witness to other people is simply by living a good clean Christian life, and setting a good example to others by doing so.

Wouldn't that be dishonest? There is no valid reason to believe that any gods exist, just your wish that one did, so trying to persuade someone that a god did indeed exist would be immoral. When you have some logically satisfactory evidence or argument, *then* it might be OK... but no-one in all of human history has ever produced any such thing for any of the thousands of gods that people have imagined, so I doubt it will ever happen.

I am guilty of not witnessing to neighbours everyday. But I do slowly and gently witness to my schoolmates and co-workers when the opportunity presents itself. I don't want to push them away by being too pushy.

I don't, not if I want to be a good neighbor.
That's sort of rude hon, the best witness is simply to live a good clean life and let them see how blessed you are. No need to rub their noses in it, that's a terrible thing to do to your neighbor.

Of course this is what we are called to do. Though many times it is easier said then done. A good icebreaker for me is to answer when asked "Hello, How are you?" I try to say, "I'm blessed". Sometimes this opens the door to more conversation about Christ.

I do!....only to those who wants to hear it!......some feed back is positive & some feedback is negative!....most of the feedback I've been getting has been more positive than negative!.......Ps. If people can wear my ears out about soap opera's, other people's business, obsene tv. programs, etc. etc. etc. then I feel it's not a big deal for me to share something meaningful to them to add to their life!....and it works!......I know how to be tactful with sharing the Gospel!.....
