It can. Meditation can be a way to access your higher self and a Higher Power by altering your state of consciousness so that you are in what is called the 'alpha' state of consciousness. (It is perfectly normal and not weird at all!) You can use it to listen to your Higher Self or God for marriage advice (or advice or information about just about anything). However -- a marriage counselor might be more immediately effective.

Probably the cheapest and easiest way to "meditate" is to purchase a little book called "The Relaxation Response" It gives two methods of getting into the pre-dream state.

This will get you past the yoga hype and you won't have to join anything or take hours of instruction. You and you wife will need to do this on your own. If you both center like this it will help your relationship. The mantra for this is the word "One"

As far as husband/wife relation you might want to search as: tantric/sex/yoga and check out books on Amazon. A little reading will make you an expert.

I do not know how serious you are. Just to help you, please visit the artofliving sites, www.artofliving.org or contact nearest art of living center where ever you are. Can you Meditate ? Yes I can and I feel at peace and tranquility. For some strange reasons, I always visualize a Japanese women in her Tea serving ceremony while I meditate!!! If you have seen this, you will know what I mean.

I found a neat CD that was good. I have not heard of "couple" meditations but then again I'm in Michigan. hehe California might have.
I really like the CD I just got. Here it is: "Guided Mediatations" by Bodhipaksa. I got mine from Amazon.com
I really like it. Nice soothing Scottish male voice and no music. Good luck!

Yes. When you meditate, you focus on the loving good things about your relationship with your partner, mentally "send" those feelings to your partner during your meditation, the energy is contagious, subtle, but it will still permeate enough to begin causing a difference in your relationship.

Yes, anyone can and it's worth the time and effort. Just be alone and try not be distracted. It helps to be alone and in the same place when you meditate. I walk in woods for one example.

um, well, when you meditate it tends to clear your mind, enabling one to see things with greater clarity... however greater clarity doesn't mean things will appear as you would like them to.
