After being denied for not having enough credentials, or not having enough financial proof, what are the consequenses? Can you reaply again? if so, how soon? Will the U.S have you on file as being previously denied? Also, can you be denied for not having enough proof of the relationship with your fiancee?

You are not telling the whole story.

A K-1 visa is for the fiance of an American citizen. No applicant will be denied for not having sufficient financial support. Unlike a normal immigrant visa, the I-864 is not required, nor is proof of income over the poverty guidelines. If the applicant needs anything further to complete a good case, they will simply be asked to bring it in; then the visa is issued.

You CAN be denied for not having a genuine relationship. That is far more serious. If the petitioner is involved in immigration fraud, he or she can be prosecuted, and the visa applicant excluded from the US permanently.

Yes, Yes, Yes.

Yes you can reapply. You don't have to wait.
Yes, the Bureau of Homeland Security will know you have been previously denied. A previous denial doesn't diminish the chance of having a visa granted, unless the previous denial stems from some characteristic you cannot change, like criminal history or moral turpitude.
Yes, you can (and will) be denied for not having enough proof of the relationship.

The key is to be very anal about the application, and don't be lazy. If you have to go to the bank to get a year's worth of records to document your financial status then that is what you have to do. (Any why wouldn't someone do this if it means being with their fiance?).

You might consider hiring an immigration attorney that specializes in K-1 visas to put the application together for you. I think I've seen attorneys advertise on the internet for under $500.00
