I want to go to Hawaii soon. Will it be to hot if I go when it is summer on the east coast? When is a nice time to go when it is not to hot/humid? If you have been there, could you tell me what time of year/ month it was and how hot was it. Thanks!

2nd wk in July - 86-90F....15 - 25mph Tradewinds help cool things down. Aug. a litle hotter, September : very humid, temp starts going down but w/ the humidity a little uncomfortable but we don't mind it, just jump in the ocean, or an air conditioned bar, supermarket, movie theatre, or mall.Hotel rooms are air conditioned.Oct. to Dec. is cooler, cheaper, & less tourists & kids.(they're mostly in school) Airfare & room rates, along w/ some other things are cheaper if you fly during the week. Weekends are more expensive. Many good package deals year round, just gotta do your homework depending on what you want to do. Ecotourism is picking up a lot, I would highly reccommend it! Feb. ,March is the rainest time of year, but it's still 78F. April is good until about the 2nd wk. in Jun.(starts getting hot, end of May, beginning of june) B4 the prices go up again for the Summer season; but not quite as high as Dec.through Easter (end of March) Light Windward showers almost every day, short afternoon showers sometimes blow over the mountains just to cool things off.

Oh the weather is great back home believe me. I would go home in a flash if I could. Nothing beats the islands weather than the states. It sucks because at least I know that in Hawai'i it has the trade winds and not this fricken humidity or the dry heat here. You will enjoy your time there especially lots of beautiful beaches to dip into when you are hot. Usually the rainy season starts in November - January, if that. Thats our Hawaiian Snow..LOL .. Hawai'i temperature never reaches above 90 degrees and besides got the tropical breezes from the Pacific Ocean to cool you down.

Always about 85 F there. With a breeze. Not humid like the east coast. Nice climate. Watch for the hurricanes though, Even though there not as frequent as the southern east coast they do have them.

I have been twice March 2004 and February 2005. Both times it was absolutely beautiful with little or no rain and temps in the 70's to 80's. From what I understand this is the year round temps since they seem to have the same amount of sun year round. I have been able to travel a lot and have never found anywhere to compare to Hawaii yet. I hope you enjoy your trip.

I lived there for a year...you don't want to go during the rainy season. Other than that it's always nice, not too hot, not humid, and great tradewinds.

I went in late February early March.....It was beautiful! The temperature was about 80 degrees. It was the end of the whale mateing season....that is a wonderful site to see all of the whales ....simply beautiful! ....I'm one of those that wants to go to a warm climate in the winter months when I am experiencing cold weather where I live. Getting away from the cold to a warm climate during the winter is wonderful!

IT IS NOT COMPARABLE TO FLORIDA !!!! HAWAII IS MUCH DIFFERENT, EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL AND TROPICAL.. IT DOES NOT COMPARE TO ANY OTHER.....YOU JUST HAVE TO EXPERIENCE HAWAII TO BELIEVE IT!

It is usually within 80-90 degrees, and very much humid. It rains almost every day, but its usually a light drizzle, nothing to get your umbrella out for. Always a light breeze. Please visit! You'll love it.
