Ginger Sauce


1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 ounce gingerroot (a nickel-size slice), peeled and chopped
Juice 1/2 lemon (2 tablespoons)
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon white vinegar

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on low speed for 30 seconds or until the gingerroot and garlic have been pureed. Chill before serving.

Try using a salad dressing, I find this works pretty well and there are usually some available in that flavor. I recommend marinating the fish in it, first for a more intense flavor, or just brush it on as you cook, if you want it light.
