I heard from someone that if you're a member of AAA, you don't have to wait for your 16th birthday to get your provisional driving liscense. Is this true? And if so, how do you go about doing it? What are the requirements? Thanks!

This is not true. The age when you can get your license (provisional or otherwise) depends entirely on the state you live in, and it is a state regulation that is not influenced by AAA. If your state says the age is 16, the age is 16. However, when you do get your license and a car, being an AAA member grants you a 5% discount in auto insurance in most states, so it's still a good idea to get membership.

AAA doesnt have anything to do with when you get your permit..
