ok i am applying for a job downtown and i have a traffic warrant and i really want this job and i am afraid that i won't get hired because of it. oh also will your past jobs show up on your background checks.

A traffic warrant as in a ticket or an arrest? If it's just a ticket, go pay it. If it's an arrest, then yes you're stuck with it.
