First of all, YOU USUALLY DO NOT.

They are few and far between and expensive...I can write you some more about how I finally found help after many strange, near-death episodes with no understanding physician in sight=INCLUDING MY OWN MOTHER!!!!

The thing is, you really will have to seek out a Lyme Specialist, even more than infectious disease. (If you have or get re-curring rashes , TAKE PICTURES! ) THat may be the only way to get at least partial treatment coverage from insurance!

Don't worry too much over the testing-THEY ARE TRUE HONEST TO GOD CRAP TESTS!!! Get them if you must for the record, but try to get those all through lyme specialist...He'll help you with getting tested for co-infections, and they usually know how to test in other DNA ways to come closer...because even the Western Blot is not so exact, checking only like 5 strands of DNA...Ask for a polymerase chain reaction test, even a spinal tap will have only about a 5% chance of coming back positive, so don't put yourself through that.

let me know how you're doing...IT is a battle we could have never anticipated. And it sucks most of the time, but maybe if we can help each other, it wiill make smth good out of the crap.
