I have served with two. One guy was a former gang member former nation of Islam current regular Muslim. He was a nice guy. I served with another guy that was from Bangladesh, fluent in a few languages that are in high demand right now and was grabbed to do bigger and better things. during the time I knew him he served his adopted country well.

All of us have served with Muslims. They've always been in the military just as Jewish soilders and sailors. And why wouldn't I befriend and trust them? Because they're Muslim? That's like asking me if I trust Baptists since I'm Catholic. They're no different than you and I. It just happens to be their religion and you can't judge someone on that basis.

Yes. If they did not tell you what religion they followed, you would never know.
The percentage of head cases are the same for Muslims as for any other religious group.

Plenty Muslims, most of the time you don't know someones religion unless they tell you. You learn to trust everyone you work with in the military, it's your job to save their *** and their job to save yours.

Yeah. They were cool, no problems. I've had more issues with evangelical christians than I have with muslims. Of course, I've seen alot more evangelicals.

I treated them just like any other soldier.
And they were loyal just like any other soldier.
