Conflicts arrise due to differing opinions and the pushing of a person's/nations political agenda - the US have no interest in an independent peace keeping militia because they wouldn't be able to push the US governments agenda. If they did create such a thing the US government would control it with their politicians and big money just as they do with the U.N. for example : http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060727/ap_on_re_mi_ea/mideast_fighting_un

the thing with "independant" peace keeping militias A). they never work (U.N. and league of nations both failures) B. theres someone always pulling the string (ex. The USA in the UN where we provided 50 percent of the money or also the security council who work for their benefits)

then comes the issue who puts in the troops ...the nation that puts in most would would more money or something....they always do...then the issue of who is in charge...commanders...language...it's a mess

Like the supposedly "neutral" UN peacekeepers?

Besides ' peacekeepers' will not do any good in the Middle East. What is needed is 'peace enforcers' who are willing to treat both sides to the same standards.

If the UN had actually been neutral then this whole mess would not be going on.

Unfortunately, Harper will do whatever Bush tells him to do.. and I guess he hasn't mentioned a peace keeping group yet.

But we are busy fighting Americas way in Afghanistan.. you know the place where "mission was Accomplished?"

Nope, terrorists can't be negotiated with. They do not like you and would kill you all where you stood if you got in there way, remember that friend. We need to unite behind our government and squash these cowards because the only way to defeat them is through war, it is proven.
