Cut out all refined/processed sugars and only feed your sweet tooth with fruit. After a couple of weeks, you won't crave the other sugars(like chocolate). It's quite hard at first but it really does work. Some good "sweet snacks" are:
1. Apples(granny smith) with nonfat PLAIN yoghurt
2. Plain yoghurt with Splenda
3. Cold/Frozen Grapes and Strawberries
4. Banana with Unsweetened Peanut butter
Hope this helps!

You mean you want to stop eating chocolate all together? I love chocolate too, I try to have some willpower and not eat so much. I just incorporate a little into my diet so I don't feel deprived and gorge myself on it later.
I have heard that you can be hypnotized to dislike chocolate, but I'm not sure how well that would work...

Cut-back slowly! Do you like dark chocolate? You could get those small dark chocolate and limit yourself to one a day. They are actually full of anti-oxidants! My dad worked for Hershey Chocolate. I could taste candy that wasn't in stores yet. I have a serious problem with chocolate! BUt I just don't keep it in the house AT ALL!

I feel your pain. I limit what I buy and make it last the week. I only eat it after dinner. I find that M&Ms and chocolate chip morsels are best because a small handful seems like enough. (Most of the time!) :)

Twelve step program?
First step is admitting you have a problem. You have already done that.
Just don't buy it. Reward yourself with a health club membership

YOU CAN EAT CHOCOLATE IN MODERATE AMOUNTS. IN A STUDY THEY FOUND THAT IT IS GOOD TO YOUR HEALTH BUT IN SMALL AMOUNTS. EATING TOO MUCH WILL MAKE YOU FATTER, WILL CLOG YOUR ARTERIES AND YOU ARE MORE PRONE TO DIABETES.
