Getting divorced isn't a sin. But you should pray everyday and ask for forgivness regardless

What religion are you? If you are a catholic, the church does not believe in divorce. In some cases, the bishop will ask for a dispensation of the marriage; but there has to be specific reasons and guidelines for that to be granted. If it is given, the marriage is dissolved and the person can then marry again. If you are divorced in a civil suit by the state, you are still legally married in the eyes of the church. The marriage is not dissolved. Therefore you could not marry again, by church standards, and if you did anyway, then you would be committing adultery......Going to hell is between you and your creator on the day of judgement...You figure it out........

Maybe. Divorce is a sin. If the contract of marriage has not been broken, you are beholden to keep the vows you took on your wedding day. It is a couple's responsiblity to marry responsibly and make an effort to keep their marriage happy and profitable. Relationships aren't easy; they take a lot of maintenance. There are exceptions, I'm sure, like abuse and adultery, but those would also have broken your contract.

On the other hand, I believe that anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will be Saved on Judgement Day.

It would take a total absence of God in your life to go to Hell. A breakup of a marriage certainly doesn't sound like you would be damned for eternity.

NO hell to go to. Hell is the place you are when you believe hell exists. If you beileve that demons and evil spirits exist, then I wouldn't sleep alone!
