this is my dream?

im 14, and i've wanted to be an astronaut or pilot since i was like three, i have the grades and the ambition(but not the eyesight!)and the physical endurance, and am interested in physics. my hero is neil armstrong. does anyone else have this dream.

Definitely. I would LOVE to go into outer space. It's my lifelong dream. Maybe someday, when it gets cheaper to do, I'll catch a flight on one of those Virgin Space flights.

Astronauts can wear glasses or you can get corrective surgery, so go for it. Don't let anyone stop you. We're going back to the moon in 2018. Sign up to build the moon base.

Keep chasin'. As for the eyesight....look into having lasik done. I'm not into flying, but always hated wearing glasses at work. Had lasik done about 4-5 years ago. My eyes are a good amount better than 20/20. Best thing I ever had done. Good Luck.

I am 48 and still got the dream! when I was in grammar school back in the 60's I got to meet John Glen. that was cool! so yes I want to still go up.

PS stay with it, you might still go, OK. Don't ever let anyone say you cant, when you get a little older you can go with a Private space organization. OK. keep up in school and you will be OK.
