Get some gatorade in her to prevent dehydration.
If she does not stop vomiting then go to the ER and tell them she is having an adverse reaction to the patch.
Give her only plain foods such as crackers.. just like she was pregnant for the next couple of days.
If that doesn't relieve in 24 hours, call the OBGYN.

Do you mean your grandfather put on a nicotine patch and now he is vomiting? If so, yes there is something else you can do.

Use nicotine gum. The amount of nicotine can be controlled better than the patch. I used 4mg gum, but after a month, I chewed it once and thought I was going to die! I went down to 2mg and it was much better.

I know of others who have felt ill using the patch, because you can't control the amount being absorbed.
