Why even try meth, or crack, or heroine or any of that stuff even once? We all know what it does, so why give it even that first chance? I DO NOT condemn or judge anyone, but I just want to know what drives someone to try something that can hurt them so badly???

You know, they want to see how it feels like. Alot of them aren't that educated on those topics. They want to see what it's all about, and think a few more times after that won't hurt. Other times, you have dealers slipping people drugs like E to get them addicted. That's how they create permanent business.

Some people don't care and hate their life so much that it's the start to an end and I think some other people truly do not know any better and yes those type of people exist. The other people get tricked by thinking that addiction can't happen to them or that they are better than the crack ho on the street so the drugs they do, do not make them a bad person.

I think it's sometimes out of:
*curiosity
*boredom
*peer pressure
*to escape reality
*psychological problems
Crazy story I read in the news once about a man from India who died from taking Cyanide, simply because he wanted to be the first to record what it tastes like. I think certain factors, such as the ones above, drive people more to try things such as meth, crack, or even Cyanide.

Emotional pain can....they need something to deaden the pain....some people use alcohol, food, shopping, ot other things that help them deal with the pain. They usually don't have a lot of self worth either so they really don't care what happens to them.
