when I make steak I marinade it first, for at least 8 to 12 hours. I cook my steaks on the grill.
if I was making it in the oven I would get a pan that would hold the steak or steaks and put some kind of rack in the bottom so it wouldn't burn or stick to it. I would start with the oven at 350 degrees and I would flip then a couple of times to make sure they were cooking even on both sides. Cook them as long as you would like them done.

Good luck and Happy cooking.

Put salt and pepper and maybe a little garlic and thyme on it

Set the oven to broil

Move the oven rack about 6 inches below the broiler

Put the steak on a small rack inside a pan

Place under broiler

Cook 5-7 minutes each side

I cook it on broil. Let it preheat. It cooks fast and is tender. I put in on a broiling pan. Add spices to your liking. Don't forget to flip it 5-7 minutes on each side.(A little tip for a broiling pan. Add water in the bottom of it and it keeps your meats tender and is easier to clean when done.) If you can't tell when it's done, use a meat thermometer.

I put a little black pepper, garlic powder, and a pack of Lipton Onion Soup Mix or Beefy Mushroom on it. I wrap it in foil and bake until cooked.
