Im 15 and just got raped and i am going to get a rape kit done but i don't know what a rape kit is can u please help me?

you will be taken to a private area, where you will be examined by a physician or nurse. they will look at you under a special light and then take swab samples of any biologicals they find. they will also take. vaginal/anal/oral swabs as well as examine under your nails, etc. DO NOT TAKE A SHOWER, no matter how desperately you want to ...you may wash away evidence. they will also comb your hair and scrape under your fingernails additionally, they will offer you birth control as well as testing for diseases (HIV/hepatitis/STD'S)
they will also offer rape counseling. PLEASE TAKE IT. save and bring.the clothes you had on. it could also help for prosecution i'm so sorry this happened to you. best of luck. stay strong.

I so sorry that you had to go through that, a rape kit is very simple, it is similar to seeing a gyn. They'll do a vaginal exam, and take a few swabs, and comb the pubic hair. It's not bad.
I hope everything works out well for you. Please seek counseling, it will help more than you may think.

In addition to what Kim B stated, your evidence is very vital in this situation. Avoid taking a shower and try and remember every detail as accurate as possible. I'm deeply sorry to hear what happened. I hope all your results will come back negative. Please, do not feel ashamed of who you are, you did not do anything wrong. the nurse/doctor will take tests to collect evidence to convict the person who did that to you. it's kinda like a pap smear test
