I'm of half-Italian and half-Irish descent... nice combination I'm told, but leaves me a little confused sometimes, as I'm not sure whether to grab my balls or a beer! LOL. Just joking of coarse! I'm proud to be both, though I've studied about 6 semesters of Italian (something that Debra B could stand to do... it's NOT "Bonjourno" but "Buon giorno", there is no J in the Italian language.) and have been to Italy once; wonderful country... warm vibrant people, lucious food & drink, great culture. By the way GorgThePenet... needs to get a real life and quit trying to break peolpes chops!

I'm not Italian (see my avatar) but have been to Italy three times so far and can't wait to get back there - the food/wine/coffee are all great and the people are warm and friendly, not to mention the country itself is beautiful. When I went to Capri and saw the "Blue Grotto," I thought I'd died and went to heaven - but then the same thing happened when I ate linguine con vongale in Venice. Italy is to die for!
