Okay I can so relate to this question...I have a bestfriend name Michael that I 've been best friends with for 7 yrs.He has always been in love with me but I've always loved him as my best friend...So he asked me out and I had to explain to him that friendship is more worth it than being lovers..(together.)If they're really your best friend, they'll try to understand...But being bestfriends with a guy or girl is so much more than a relationship...

OK, please, please, this goes for all women, dont tell a guy he is more like a brother, just tell him the truth, it will hurt but at least it will sink in. It will ruin the friendship but if it is important to you tell him that maybe in the future, then you will keep a friend a prospect man be there for you.

well i was in the situation before. sorry to say but it wasn't that great. just say I only like you as a friend and don't think the same way as he/she does. and if you never went out then say that you are not ready yet. good luck

just tell him that u think that just staying friends is the bdest thing to do cuz if u hook up wit him and it doesnt work out then that could ruin ur friendship as well as ur relationship

As hard as it is that you don't want to ruin your friendship you gotta be up front and honest with him. He'll be heart broken but he'll understand that you just wanna stay friends and nothing more.

If your not interested just let him know that you care about him but just rather have him as a friend not a boyfriend, that your relationship means more.
