My dad just bought me some Lean Cuisine tv dinners. It says no perservatives or artifical flavoring. Do you think they would lie? Oh and if you do like Lean Cuisine tv dinners, which one is your favorite? I love the lemon chicken with a side of brown rice. and Orange Chicken with steamed rice. its really good.

Nutrient wise they seem to be ok. I don't think anyone is going to die from eating too many tv dinners. Mostly because most of them taste so bad nobody can eat too many. Lean Cuisine seems to be among the better ones, nutritionally. Healthy Choice used to produce some also but don't know if they're still out there.

In summation, they should be used only in a pinch. Got home late, no time to cook, too tired to cook, etc. These are the times for tv dinners. The majority of your meals should be prepared fresh.

you should get 7 to 10 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables a day. ORGANIC. FRESH. FLAVORFUL. COLORFUL NEVER FROZEN. The benefits will pay off in time. You have variety built in. And you dont have to cook that much! Protein? no meat, dairy.
northwestern cold water fish, soy, protein powder shakes are ok.
The rich do this. They have raw food chefs that prepare their meals. You can make the same recipes or simpler salads. Include seaweed foods (spices from shaker containers, nori crisps, seaweed salad, sushi) for the thyroid to function well. Add a good food source multivitamin for all around nutritional support.
Drink herbal teas. Sweeten with stevia and agave. Now you dont ever have to worry about diabetes.

I am not a big fan of frozen food, but if you re going to eat them, then lean cuisine would probably be the best, watch the sodium though!!!

Check the nutrition label on the box. That will give you some idea. TV dinners are typically high in sodium and low in nutrients, but some are better than others.

I used to like tv dinners, but they don't taste as good as they used to. I dont' think they would lie abt the preservatives and stuff like that. Chicken and rice are healthy.

If it says no preservatives or artificial flavoring then it doesn't have them. Frozen foods can get away without them, being that they are frozen. I wouldn't say they are "healthy" per se but you could do worse. My favorite from LC is the pepperoni pizza, it is surprisingly tasty.

Due to the high amount of sodium, cholesterol, saturated fats, MSG, and other ingredients which they are not healthy for you, you should try to avoid them, once in a while is OK, but do not abuse.

I think they are okay occasionally if paired with another serving of vegatables. The sodium is usually really high.

I eat them sometimes, if hard-pressed for time. You have to watch the sodium in them though.
