Question seems self explanitory, some people just don't want to believe in anything, but put their believes elsewhere. Not to mention that no religion doesn't have to mean no morales and ethics.

Why don't they just repent for not believing in Jesus Christ & confess Jesus Christ Lord of their life then?

We don't think that all atheists are trying to prove that there is not God but if you believe that there is a God then you are not really atheist. The meaning of atheism is denial of the existence of God so that pretty much means that atheists don't believe in God. Agnostics on the other hand do not deny the existence of God they just choose not to believe in him. Here is a word of advice, before you go claiming to be something or making a statement for some cause know what you are talking about first.

I've always had a real problem with religious proselytizing (aka "witnessing'). If your religion's so great, then why aren't people flocking to it without your advertising through various media? Why do you have to put out flyers, Chick tracts, magazines, TV shows, websites, radio shows...why such a push for recruitment? Do you not realize that your "eternal life" bonus for joining your group sounds a lot like a sign-on bonus for military service? Ugh. If your religion is so great, then people will find out about it on their own without you pushing it and trying to shove it down their throats. Not that this is a direct response to the question. And don't assume I'm not religious--I just try to keep an open mind about these things. Witness with your lives, not your judgmental opinions and blatant shows of stupidity and bigotry.

From a historic standpoint Jesus was a figure from biblical times i dont think atheists are trying to prove the non existence of Jesus, just the idea that he was the son of God.Now that can never be proven since religion is about faith, and I have faith in one day I may win the lottery, but who knows if that is going to pass?(smile)

I'm religious and I have nothing against atheists. I don't think they are closed minded or are trying to prove that there is no God. We are both humans just the same, we just have chosen to believe different things for different reasons. I can respect you if you can repsect me. No matter religion or not.

Atheists do not believe in God, that doesn't mean that we don't believe in Jesus Christ. I believe he was a very wise man, a gifted speaker, and exceptional teacher. That doesn't mean I believe he is the son of an invisible supreme being, but not believing in the invisible supreme being doesn't mean I don't believe in Jesus Christ' existence. It does mean, however, that I don't believe that whole myth of the Trinity. Feel free to believe what you wish, but let me believe as I wish.

I'm agnostic .. and there is no proof that Jesus ever existed. But I don't really care one way or the other to prove it either way. It's a futile argument by all of these staunch narrow-minded religionists.

We realize that. It's only common sense that if someone doesn't believe in God, then there would be no need to prove his non-existence. Correct? Why try to prove nothing?

We're still praying for all of them, though.

Good for you! Now you can face erasure at the End of Time with your morals and ethics for company. Doesn't that make you happy!...?

Why do religious people use passive aggressive attacks on us by saying that they will pray for us? It's the oldest trick in the book kill them with kindness. Why are they so transparent?

I'm not an atheist, but I'm a Pantheist, and I love it when people tell me I'm going to hell. I always tell them that since I don't believe in Satan, or hell, that I'm not going to worry about it.

And BTW, agnostics DOUBT the existence of God. PAGANS choose not to believe in him.
