What's wrong with dating black women? I wouldn't discriminate if a white guy were to ask me out. As long as they work as hard as I do, treat me with respect, and don't play games, I would have no problem. It doesn't matter to me what race you are as long as you're a decent guy.

I just checked out a Personals match on my e-mail. This one guy chose every race EXCEPT African-American. What's up with that?

I'm not taking it personal but I just want a little diversity in my dating experiences and it bothers me a little that especially in my small town, I have not found any guys (of other races) who are open (or who I'd be brave enough to ask) to dating a Black woman. Absolutely not saying that dating one race is better than another. You know the saying "you find love where you least expect it" ? So why limit the possibilities?

Okay, black women have a particular smell now? Okay, first things first, out of curiosity, what do "we" smell like? Because I actually take baths. And second, did you ever think that maybe you shouldn't group all black women in that category since you couldn't have smelled every black woman in the world?

I have no idea. They are stupid honey. Don't let that get you down though. From what I know, there are plenty of white guys out there that would date a black woman. My b/f did. Just keep an eye out.

Since no one else wants to say it, I will:

For many guys, there is the racism that occurs at a societal level. There are still relatively few female black symbols, which means that when a guy (black or white) dates black women, he is left with the distinct feeling that most of society looks down on him and thinks "Wow! Guess he couldn't succeed with a woman (of a different ethnicity). Oh well, guess there have to be some people who only 'settle' in the world." By no means am I implying that this mindset is right or fair, yet for some, it *does* exist... and it influences the choices in women that guys will make.

For me personally, I have found that I often don't like the way that black women smell, and I just have not thought of a polite way to tell them this without offending them.

Maybe because that is their preference "Caucasion Women". Not, unless you come across a board where they state a different preference. You cannot take out your anger on all white guy's because some or most choose not to date black women, it doesn't work that way.

If you ever come across someone that is interested in you for you and not your color, then that should be the reason you two should get together, first become friends and get to know each other and afterwards consider a first time date.

Try the interracial websites and go from there.

Who you date, chose to be with, it is a personal decision.
CHARACTER is the most important in a person to me, not the color of your skin!

it's just a matter of preference, don't take it personal. we all have certain things we prefer in a mate, tall, short, blond, brunette etc.
