Is this who you're looking for:

**************

1920 census (taken January, 1920)
Indiana, Randolph County, Monroe Township
Sheet no. 12A

ALLEN
--Fredrick -- head -- male -- 30 -- IN -- IN -- IN
--Effie R. -- wife -- female -- 28 -- IN -- IN -- IN
--Ida? -- dau-- female 5 3/12 -- IN -- IN -- IN
--Cleo R. -- son-- male 3 2/12 -- IN -- IN -- IN
--John H. -- son-- male 1 8/12-- IN -- IN -- IN

Fredrick is listed as a farmer.

Notes: I had trouble reading the name of the oldest child, "Ida." Also I was unsure whether the elder son was Cleo or Chs. (Charles).

*************************

Sorry... I couldn't find Fred in earlier censuses with parents.

My best to you

Bill
