Some people believe it is necessary to promote their religious ideas. This includes atheist's who often think war would disappear if religions did. This is a pointless arguement not based in reality. Secular people fight all the time, why wouldn't they war. Muslims and Christians are told to move people to the truth, that is their religion. Jewish people rarely do this. Often people are seeking God, but frustrated, especially young people. They can be particularly brutal and cruel, as young people acting out.

Why do religious people bash each other? Why do religious people think that they are better than others just because they believe in some God? Why do they think that only they are living moral lives when most of the religious people don't follow what they preach? Why do they think that people who don't follow any religion are evil and condemned to hell? Why don't you brainwashed people leave others alone instead of trying to stuff your ideas down others throats? It is the religious people who put others down because they are insecure and need someone to tell them what to think and do and they are judgemental too.

some ppl migh tbe unsure of the truth, but aen't we all? in the end, there is a lot of pressure out there to accept some religion, because that is how most ppl classify others. So now these under pressure ppl are getting abck by making fun of them.
*By the way I'm 15 and come from a religious family, but am not myself. But I respect their and your feelings. I wish some religious ppl were the same

Forget religion.
Christ is the path of salvation.
Christ is the truth of God's Word.
Christ is the life eternal.
Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Christ is the tree of life.
Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

When people ask simplistic questions (as most questions that deal with religion inherently are), they're bound to get shot down by other people. I do it because I like to try and make the sheep think.

Can't speak for others, but I feel compelled to point out that it is mostly religious people who try to convert -- not atheists.
People who put down particular religions are themselves religious, they just put down all religions other than their own.

People learn what they are taught and are afraid of what they know not.If you are convinced that someone is wrong then hear their side first before you judge their beliefs you might find out that basically most are the same with different names for the characters.

It's prophecy and continued through history. The Children of Israel cried for hundreds of years to God, Jehovah, Yaweh, about their constant persecution, those who would mock them for their beliefs. People were killed, nations destroyed, lands stolen, etc.
The persecution of the Jews and the Christians is foretold in the Bible. Jesus told the disciples as accounted in John 15:18
"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first."
This is no new thing. We just have to stay strong in the word until we go home to be with the Lord through death, or until Christ comes. Either way, "The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold." Psalm 18:2
Romans 8:31
What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us.

you're right. I think all of your answers are right.
I just asked a question not 5 min ago about Joseph Smith and someone said I HATED all those that didn't agree with me. But it's OK if they don't agree with me though. (rolling eyes now)
I also think they are very insecure about their own beliefs
