i am here to get open sincere comments abt this issue... i want to know why west support israel?? history clearly tells us and everyone knows tht jews came and snatched other peoples land... we know this act was unjustice...then why do we support israel???? they say tht its a land god promised but why would anybody care abt tht!....... dont u think jews r the main reason behind the middleeast crisis?

We support Israel because they are a democracy, and they are the only friend we can count on in the middle east. Every square inch of land people live on was snatched from someone else. The main reason there is a middle east crisis is because the islamo-facist cut people's heads off and fly planes into buildings. Israel is about 2% of the middle east, and it's one of the only parts of the middle east that has no oil. Can't you let them have that? I've read the koran, so I know what you're really about. You're alla can't do anything, if he could he'd crash my computer. But he won't, because he can't.

Ann, I read your other answers. You think Christians are the most murderous religion? When is the last time Christians cut off someone's head and chanted "Jesus is great"? You are out of your little mind.

1. west supports isreal because the jews are very powerful in western countries, especially USA. Lots of financial ties too, we give them alot of weapons. F-15s missiles. We arm Isreal the same way Iran allegedly arms Hezbollah. Most the time, there's really no reason not to support them.
2. Jews didn't "snatch" the land. They were given it because the world felt sorry for them.
3. the Jews and the US are the main reasons behind the middle-east crisis because they want an excuse the blow the crap out of the whole place. But if they just did without some trumped-up reason, they'd piss off too many other countries. So they hide behind their usual excuse of "terrorism" (or Terra as GW calls it). Once the west is successful in their latest genocide, they'll carve up the Middle East as the spoils of war.
4. not letting the muslims and arabs off the hook either. they seem to be as hot-headed and uncompromising as the jews and the west. in that respect, its everyone's fault.

What no one seems to be able to answer is why they support the killing of innocent Christians who live just next to the innocent Muslims? And why they insist that Jews own the land when Orthodox Jews themselves state that the Torah forbids a Jewish state (Israel). I can understand how being told by man that you cannot have a state is unfair, but what about when it's the God you worship that tells you it's forbidden?

That's so ONE-SIDED I can't believe it...They RETURNED to a land they once RULED.

They have DEFENDED that land against numerous attacks.

They now OWN that land and have given part of it to the people who say they have been "occupied"

The Isaraeli's are now being attacked by numerous countries terrorists claiming it's Israel's fault they are exploding people.

I think the Jews are only HALF of the problem in the ME- Muslims need to accept the presence of Israel and move FORWARD- not continue talking of "wiping them off the map: driving them into the sea" et al- Jews take that talk seriously and respond accordingly.

If you look at the civilian death count and land obtained since the original start of that state, stolen in the first place, it's easy to see who the aggressor is, which is Israel. Not all in the west support the state in the least.

Middle east problem is the creation of war mongers. Human values are undermined. When weapons are over- manufactured, they have to be sold out. Under one plea or the other, commencement of a war is inevitable. We utilise the miracles of science for the destruction of mankind. Arguments and counter-arguments are plenty in favour of Israel and other Middle-East countries. Let's support none but the human values. Innocent people are killed due to political misjudgments.

3.Everybody else hates Isreal with a passion. Not not just the middle east, the whole world.

I am totally agree with you ,but let's say that there is no way for jewish to leave that land do they have the rights to kill innocent people and force them not to defend there land while they gave themselves the right to take what is not belonging to them and ask others to support them.don't you see that there is something wrong here.

We are the strongest country, it is our job to help those in need. There are terrorist killing their people. Imagine what it would be like for you to live in a country like that. We Americans have no idea what it is like. We are very selfish people, and alot of americans think of only themselves. You would think 911 would have made people think. Imagine living that everyday of your life like 911. But we can't because we Americans are too wrapped up in our busy lives to care about anybody else. Except ourselves. Everyone tlks about "Oil" when will people get it it is about being a human and caring about others, putting others before yourself. That is what God would want us to do.

Here's my theory on this. Our country is based on peoples who have come here- from all over the world (usually due to ecomomic reasons- or religious persecution). Because of their OWN persecution over the centuries -many Jewish people have settled & succeeded here FROM all over the world. As a result, we as a country are naturally sympathetic to Israel- because we can relate to what & where they've come from. Whether you agree with it or not, -our country is pumping millions of dollars in weapons into the Middle East -ON ALL SIDES!- So alot of what's going on over there- is as much as OUR fault, as anyone elses. -ESPECIALLY since we LOVE our gas guzzling SUVs!
