Yes it is stupidity. If your going to fall for the crap that they do, then of course they are stupid. Most of their responses are so predictable it's like clock work. The Christian mind is like digital, it works in 1's or 0's. On or off. What they fail to realize is that we live in an analog universe. In the real world it's not just black or white, but many shades of Gray.

That was not a serious question, it was a stupid question, meant to insult Christians and evoke a response. The person got exactly the response he was looking for, so now he can go and congratulate himself that he knew all along that Christians were "immature, ignorant, and stupid". Very nice.
I usually ignore those kind of questions, but sometimes the temptation to give a bit back does get overwhelming.
I do usually check out the person's profile, though, and it's generally true that the people who ask these kinds of questions are trolls. They put out the bait, and then whine when someone bites.
It's Yahoo, silly child. If you aren't prepared to "take it", don't dish it out.

Ask a question.
Here...
A question is any of several kinds of linguistic expressions normally used by a questioner to request the presentation of information back to the questioner, in the form of an answer, by the audience. Alternatively, one may say that the question is the request itself, and the interrogative sentence merely expresses it, but we will not use this sense. Questions thus resemble other requesting expressions as well as commands in normally being used to elicit a response. Indeed some expressions, such as "Would you pass the butter?", have the grammatical form of questions but function as requests for action, not for answers; these will be treated under request rather than here.
Understand?

They do it because they are insecure. It is like Freud said,"People use religion to cover up for what is really there in their sub-consciousness". Christians and a lot of people hate Freud, but the man had some valid points. What real feelings are Christians hiding? What problems are they trying to cover up? My step-sister was a trouble-maker before she became a born again Christian. It was a cover up for her real problems, and those problems manifested onto her children.

Everyone who insulted him is an idiot to anyone smarter than them. Which happens to be a LOT of people.
You can actually say things that dissagree with people and sound like a normal person instead of a 2 year old.

because they're simply humans too like you and me. even if they're christian or whatever their religion belong to it's so easy to get offended esp. if it's not challenge but expressed by ridicule why you believe what you believe. nobody is perfect we all have emotions and boundaries although christians shouldn't be like that or i should say nobody should be like that. i understand the need to protect Jesus though especially if you have personal relationship with him but all we gotta do people is love which to be particular esp. in this yahoo answer is to respect. if you feel disrespected don't stoop down to their level coz we're just misrepresenting God. No wonder people who don't believe in God avoids believer because we tend to impose our belief. God loves all of us that's my belief. Only him can judge coz he knows the heart...no one else in this earth does.

They don't understand their own religion, so whenever someone else tries to, that's the only thing they can do to keep their ignorance a secret.
You know what they say.
Offence is the best defence!

I think it's ignorance and possibly fear of someone else not agreeing with them. However, not all Christians are like that.
