I'm not sure why people find Mormons so different.. could someone please explain this to me, because I'm tired of being teased about my religion. I'm a Christian same as you.

It is because of how your church started and what they believe.
I am sorry if people have been cruel to you, that's horrible.
If you want to know the difference read the Apostles creed. It is a synopsis of what all Christians believe.
I Believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried: He descended into hell, the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

The Roman Catholic Church and most major Protestant denominations do not regard Mormons as Christians because of Mormon beliefs regarding the nature of God and Jesus -- beliefs which are at substantial variance from the accepted doctrines of most Protestant and Catholic believers. By the same token, Unitarianism and even Christian Science are not accepted as Christian denominations by many (perhaps most) other major branches of Christendom. Having "Jesus Christ" in the formal name of a religion does not ipso facto establish its Christian credentials.

Mormons and Christians are remarkably similar--both religions believe in a fictional book that helps explain the unexplainable. Both seek solace in fairy tales.

Mormon be live that jesus went to America and taught folks there..and that whole curse on the people to make them Indians. And the whole silly, Joe smith found the gold tablets..that only he has ever seen and read from.....
But sure, other then that crazy stuff, Mormons are good people.
