You got a point!!!!
There are more deaths due to traffic accidents than pollution or smoking. So lets ban highways!
You see people banning all sorts of things, yet none of them top highway deaths.

It's not funny to joke about banning driving--for instance, women in Afghanistan were banned from driving under the Taliban, among other banned activities (like walking around without a burqa or getting medical care from a male doctor.) If you're going to try to make a clever analogy about homosexuality and the hypocrisy of many Christians, then think up two other activities to link together, because the driving bit isn't cutting it.

The amish actually do pretty much follow by that series of beliefs. So christians who don't want to be hypocrits could always become Amish...
But seriously, it's not that homosexuality is UNNATURAL, it's that it's a sin. Driving, while "unnatural" in some ways, is not a sin.

Honestly, driving probably could be classified as a sin because we are harming the environment He created for us when we do so.... However, it is definitely a sin to be homosexual. It is also a sin to have your ears pierced. All sin is equal in God's eyes. Which is why I don't look down on homosexuality at all. I am only concerned with myself & my sin. Just because of someone sexual prefrence, I'm not going to dislike someone or pick on them b/c they are still great people. Only God can judge us.

You raise an interesting question; especially since the act of driving is not only dangerous but pollutes God's earth and indirectly funds terrorism. However, the difference is that the Bible forbids homosexuality while it does not forbid driving. Please understand though that while not everyone is homosexual, everyone including all Christians do sin. We are all sinners and that is between us and God and not entire groups of people who point fingers at others in the name of God.

God's word does not say not to drive, or that driving is sin. It DOES say that homosexuality is sin. But I hope you haven't run across the hypocrites that say they're Christian and they love everyone and then curse homosexuals. I only give my opinion when asked, and just pray the rest of the time.

Nobody is 'picking' on the homosexuals. As Christians, we believe it when the Bible tells us that if a man lays with a man like he would lay with a woman, that it is an abomination.

Not a good analogy, because homosexuality is not unnatural.

I think Christians would be in favor of banning dangerous driving, like driving while intoxicated.
