How do you get a hickey?

Does somebody need to bite your neck so hard for it to appear? Also, doesn't it hurt?

A hickey is from someone ( preferably that you like) sucking on your neck (or other body parts) it is where the sucking has caused the blood to come to the surface of your skin.
It can hurt depending on how hard the other person is sucking. If they know what they are doing then it doesn't usually cause any pain.
Now the other issue of it........Men/women usually only want to put a hickey on you for one reason and that is to show ownership of property (meaning you)....There is no sexual gratification from receiving a hickey so it is just a status issue.
Receiving a hickey in this day and age can also make you look cheap and easy, and give you a bad reputation with the boys. It isn't like it use to be in the old days where everyone thought they were cool. That went out along time ago.
And depending on how old you are they can get you into trouble with your parents.

Have someone suck in the same spot for a period of time, the harder they suck, the darker it gets....it doesnt hurt unless they do it for a long time, then it would get irritating..and maybe a lil sore
