Over 10% of Mexico's population is here in the US illegally. A people that industrious should be able to have an impact on their own country. This argument always fails on the questions "where do you draw the line" and "what price are you willing to pay". This notion that the US should accept anyone that needs a better life is unreasonable and not possible. The US needs an immigration policy that benefits the US.
If this country spent all the money it does on illegals to fight poverty for US citizens wouldn't it be great!

It's simple, they are illegal so #1 shut down the border now! #2 No government aid, medical, food stamps etc. #3 Fine the chicken **** people who hire illegals, serious fines no slap on the wrist. Cut off the job flow. they will go home when the gravy train dries up. #4 Start enforcing our LAWS. Hire a couple thousand more immigration agents, it would be cheaper then taking care of all the ILLEGAL immigrants

It's about: If you have a law, you ought to enforce it. Lawbreakers should be given the penalty assigned by the legistlation. Americans who hire illegal foriegn labor should be jailed.
