I had radiation after a lumpectomy, and just a bit of a "sunburn" if you will. After I had a double mastectomy I had radiation again. My left side was worse, with tissue scarring and tighting. I am assured it is normal. You might want to ask your dr.

just some burned skin, which healed, now I have no hair growing the the area that was treated
