I have had heart problems....Need to be careful

Don't eat what they eat. You are in control of your actions, not them.

You want to "lose" the weight...so your pants get "loose"...LOL!

And to answer your question, you have self control OR don't keep junk/sugary foods in the house. If it's a health issue for you, then why can't the other household members go out if they feel the urge for a candy bar or ice cream (or whatever it is). Keep the food in the house healthy...it'd be better for everyone!

When you get control of your diet, and are eating healthy start adding some exercise (if your doctor allows) even if its just some walking...the more calories you burn, the more pounds you will lose...

dont buy sugar duhhhh or just dont eat it if you know it's bad for you! you should start eating fruit that has natural sugar. dried apricots are real nice they just taste like candy, but are healthy

Buy your own food and keep it seperate, and stick to a strick diet made by your doctor.
