At the point when it just gets so hot you let out a scream as you rip off all your clothes and are promptly fired for 'inappropriate conduct'. Some people get offended soooo easily! tsk.

There's been HUNDREDS of people asking this same question for weeks now!!
The is NO legal maximum working temperature in the UK, however if it affects your health there IS a LEGAL requirement to ensure your welfare.
There are only HSE guidlines for employers - NOT laws - that state that fans should be provided, windows opened...blah, blah, blah.

As far as I know there is no upper limit to the temp in an office before being sent home but there is a lower limit but I can't remember what it is. (Hard luck if you are trying to get out of work in the current UK heatwave)

I didn't think there was any legal limit for temperatures for adults at work. Only in schools for the kids

whenever you realise it is hot enough to leave the house without a jacket.
if your boss offers you a fan tell him/her where they can shove it.
if they offer you an Air Conditioning unit, kiss em, snog em, rape em, do whatever you want.
