Yes, they should not drink milk, no matter how much you see it on TV it really isn't good for them. Animals like many people become lactose intolerant after they are weaned, people are more able to drink milk because milk and milk products have become a staple in our diets.

I am sure, like humans, some are lactose intolerant. The reason people say they are lactose intolerant is because they should not drink cow's milk. This is because the cows milk curdles different from other animals milk. This can make the cat very ill. Cats can still drink cat milk and probably some other milks, but cow's milk is not good for them.

Actually yes and no - MANY cats are. SOME are not. It is just safer to presume your cat is. Puting "cat" and "lactose" into google returned the following result: http://cats.about.com/cs/catfood/a/humanfood.htm

Yes. You can by special kitty milk for them wherever you buy cat food, but it is not a neccessary part of their diet. Cats do quite well on cat food and water, they don't need milk.

yes, in a way. the way our milk is processed is bad for them. but you can get "Catsip" at the market or the pet store. It is non-homogenized or whatever, it is in a blue box, about the size of a kid's juice box & is about a dollar . . . you give them about 1/4 cup at a time.
